BRAIN HEALTH EDUCATION

To fulfill our mission of improving brain health across the lifespan, we are expanding access to educational programs. The target for this education is Schools, Churches, Treatment Providers and Business’ thought out Montana.

Our youth deserve better.

75% of all mental health issues begin before age 25. Nearly 32% of adolescents have an anxiety disorder, over 6 million have ADHD, and 33% of 12th graders used an illicit substance in the past year. 57% of teenage girls report being persistently sad and 30% have considered suicide, which is the 2nd leading cause of death in youth ages 10 to 34.

EXPANDING ACCESS TO

 LIFE-CHANGING EVALUATIONS

Traditional mental health care rarely looks at the brain. This unique approach provides individuals with the answers they need and a path to healing. By removing financial barriers, this fund ensures that lifesaving, brain-based care is accessible to those who need it the most.

Our seniors deserve better.

1 in 3 seniors die with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Over 6 million people are currently living with Alzheimer’s, and that number is expected to more than double by 2050 with no cure in sight.

You deserve better.

BRAIN HEALTH RESEARCH

At the Friedel Family Foundation, we are committed to reshaping the future of brain and mental health through rigorous, evidence-based research. By integrating neuroscience, advanced imaging, and personalized care strategies, we aim to continue to uncover the root causes of brain-based disorders and create a path forward that is proactive, personalized, and precise.

In one of the largest hope-related imaging studies ever conducted (6,408 adults), lower hope was associated with reduced activity in reward and motivation circuits and increased effort in areas related to emotional control. These findings offer a biological model of hopelessness and pathways to treat it.

Join The Friedel Family Foundation in making a difference!

Friedel Family Foundation has a culture interested in strengthening the future with a commitment to others in the area of Better Brain Health.
